Financial Services Disclaimer

Last updated: October 19, 2026

Marketing Finance Network is a trade name of Freedom Ventures Group Inc. (“MFN,” “we,” “our” or “us”). MFN is a private, invitation-only business membership and introductions network for established U.S. performance-marketing, lead-generation, affiliate and publishing businesses. This Financial Services Disclaimer (this “Disclaimer”) explains what MFN does and does not do. It applies to the MFN website, membership, member meetings, the MFN overview and other materials, and all MFN communications and introductions (together, the “Services”), and it forms part of the MFN Terms of Use and Membership Agreement.

In short: MFN is not a lender or financial institution. MFN does not make, approve, deny or influence any financing decision. MFN provides membership and introductions only. Any financing comes from independent third parties who make their own decisions and set their own terms.

1. MFN Is Not a Financial Institution

MFN is not a lender, creditor, bank, credit union, factor, funder, underwriter, loan servicer, loan broker, investment adviser, broker-dealer, or any other kind of financial institution. MFN does not:

  • make, originate, issue or fund loans, invoice advances, receivables purchases, lines of credit or any other financing;
  • extend credit or determine credit limits;
  • hold, receive, disburse or collect financing proceeds or repayments;
  • underwrite, evaluate creditworthiness, or set eligibility or underwriting criteria;
  • set or negotiate advance rates, interest rates, fees or other financing terms;
  • arrange, solicit or negotiate financing on behalf of any Network Partner or member;
  • prepare, review, complete or submit financing applications, financial statements or other documents, or advise members on how to qualify for, choose or structure financing;
  • take part in discussions between a member and a Network Partner after an introduction; or
  • make investment decisions for members or manage anyone’s money.

2. MFN Has No Say in Financing Decisions

Whether a business is offered financing, and on what terms, is decided solely by the independent Network Partner. MFN has no authority over, and does not participate in, any Network Partner’s decision to approve, decline, delay, change or withdraw an offer. MFN cannot ask a Network Partner to approve you, speed up a decision, improve terms or reconsider a decline, and nothing MFN says should be understood as a prediction of how a Network Partner will decide.

3. What MFN Does Provide

MFN provides membership in a private network, an initial call so MFN can learn about your business, membership and account support, and, when MFN believes a fit exists, introductions to one or more independent Network Partners that may be able to help. That is the full extent of MFN’s role. An introduction is a business connection only. It is not an approval, endorsement, recommendation, referral for credit, or guarantee that any discussion or transaction will take place. After an introduction, you and the Network Partner work with each other directly. Any application, documents, review and decision are handled between you and the Network Partner, and whether a Network Partner can help, and on what terms, is up to that Network Partner and depends on your business’s specific circumstances.

4. Independent Network Partners

“Network Partners” are independent third parties, such as financial institutions, lenders, factoring and receivables-finance providers, capital providers, family offices, investors, buyers and other strategic relationships. Unless MFN states otherwise in writing, Network Partners are not owned, controlled, employed or supervised by MFN, and MFN does not act as their agent.

Each Network Partner is solely responsible for its own products and services, eligibility requirements, application process, due diligence, underwriting, pricing, advance rates, fees, terms, contracts, required disclosures, licensing, privacy practices and performance. MFN does not review, verify or guarantee any Network Partner’s products, representations, financial condition, licensing or conduct, and MFN is not a party to any agreement between you and a Network Partner.

5. Understand Any Financing Before You Sign

Financing products, including invoice advances, factoring, receivables purchases, merchant cash advances, loans and lines of credit, carry costs and risks. Depending on the product and provider, they may involve:

  • fees, discounts, interest or other charges that make the total cost higher than it first appears;
  • personal guarantees, security interests, liens or UCC filings on your business assets or receivables;
  • recourse obligations if your clients pay late, pay less or do not pay;
  • credit checks, financial reporting and ongoing obligations; and
  • effects on your cash flow, client relationships and ability to obtain other financing.

Read every agreement and disclosure carefully, compare options, ask the provider about the total cost of financing, and get independent legal, tax, accounting and financial advice before entering into any transaction. Any disclosures required by federal or state commercial-financing laws are the responsibility of the Network Partner offering the financing.

6. No Guarantees

MFN does not guarantee that membership or any introduction will result in financing, funding, approval, any particular advance rate, fee or terms, a completed transaction, increased revenue or profitability, business growth, or any other particular outcome. MFN does not guarantee the number, timing or type of introductions, or that any Network Partner or opportunity will be available. Network Partners may decline to work with any business for any lawful reason. MFN does not make income or earnings claims, and the experience of other members does not predict your results.

7. Membership Dues Are Not Financing Fees

MFN membership dues are paid for access to the MFN network and its services. They are not an application fee, loan origination fee, broker fee, interest, finance charge, underwriting or credit-approval fee, deposit toward financing, or payment to or on behalf of any Network Partner. Paying dues does not entitle you to financing or improve your chances of approval. Dues are governed by the MFN Membership Agreement and the MFN Refund and Cancellation Policy.

8. No Compensation from Network Partners

MFN does not receive referral fees, commissions, success fees, revenue shares or any other compensation from Network Partners, whether for introductions, applications, approvals, funded transactions or otherwise. MFN is paid only through the membership dues its members pay, and those dues do not depend on whether a member obtains financing. Because MFN is not paid by the providers it introduces members to, it has no financial stake in which Network Partner you choose, the terms you accept, or whether any transaction closes.

If a Network Partner tells you, or states in its disclosures, that it pays compensation to MFN, please let us know at legal@marketingfinancenetwork.com.

Separately, Freedom Ventures Group Inc., its affiliates or its owners may do business with individual members on matters unrelated to MFN membership. Those dealings are voluntary, covered by their own agreements, unconnected to any Network Partner, and have no effect on introductions.

9. Illustrations and Examples

Examples, illustrations and scenarios in MFN materials, including invoice-advance examples showing advance rates, amounts, timing or fees, are simplified for explanation only. They are not offers, quotes, projections or promises. Actual advance rates, fees, funding frequency, eligibility and terms are set by each independent provider and vary with risk and other factors.

10. No Professional Advice

Information, meetings, materials and communications provided by MFN are for general informational and introduction purposes only. MFN does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, credit or individualized financial advice, and nothing in the Services should be relied on as such advice.

11. No Offer of Credit or Securities

Nothing on the MFN website or in the Services is an offer, solicitation or commitment to lend, extend credit or provide financing, or an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security or investment. MFN membership is not an investment, security, franchise, employment opportunity or business-opportunity program. Any investment or securities transaction with a Network Partner is solely between you and that party and is subject to its own documents and applicable law.

12. Business Use Only

The Services are offered only to established businesses incorporated and operating in the United States, for commercial purposes. MFN does not offer or introduce consumer credit, and the Services are not intended for personal, family or household purposes.

13. Your Information

When you request or accept an introduction, MFN shares appropriate business and contact information with the relevant Network Partner, as described in the MFN Privacy Policy and the Mutual NDA. After that, the Network Partner’s own privacy practices govern how it uses your information.

14. Related Documents

This Disclaimer should be read together with the MFN Terms of Use, Membership Agreement, Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy and Mutual NDA. Disputes relating to this Disclaimer are resolved under the “Governing Law and Dispute Resolution” section of the MFN Terms of Use. MFN may update this Disclaimer by posting a new version with its updated date.
