Freedom Ventures Group Inc., doing business as Marketing Finance Network (“MFN,” “we,” “our” or “us”), is committed to protecting the personal information we collect and process. This Privacy Policy explains how MFN collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit marketingfinancenetwork.com, join our waitlist, apply for or purchase a membership, sign an agreement, book or attend a member meeting, communicate with us, request or accept an introduction, or otherwise interact with MFN (collectively, the “Services”).

MFN is a private, invite-only business membership and introductions network for established businesses. We provide membership, network access and introductions to independent third parties, such as financial institutions, lenders, investors, family offices, factoring and receivables-finance providers, buyers and other strategic business relationships (“Network Partners”). MFN does not lend money, extend credit, underwrite or approve financing, or fund transactions.

Because MFN serves businesses, this policy mainly covers information about the people who represent them. It applies to information processed by MFN. Network Partners, payment processors and other outside services have their own privacy practices and policies.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you give us, information created through your use of the Services, information from others, and certain information collected automatically when you use our website.

Information you give us: name, business email, mobile or telephone number, company name, job title, years in business, business address, membership application and waitlist details, information submitted through website forms, information you share about your business, finances, receivables and capital needs, and any other information you choose to provide.
Membership and billing information: your Invite Code, pricing route, membership status and standing, and payment status and history. Card and bank details are collected and stored by our payment processor, not by MFN (see Section 3).
Agreements and meetings: signed non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and acceptance records (including the version, date and IP address), meeting bookings, attendance, and notes from initial calls and member meetings.
Communications: emails, text messages and other messages you send us, and your communication preferences.
Consent and audit records: the disclosure or consent language shown to you, the date and time of your consent, form-completion information, and related audit identifiers or hashes. We keep these records for security, compliance, recordkeeping and dispute-resolution purposes.
Information from others: the acquisition or referral source that brought you to MFN, and information from Network Partners about the status of introductions you pursue.
Automatic information: IP address, browser type and version, device information, user-agent, dates and timestamps, form-completion time, pages visited and other website activity, cookie data, and security, fraud-prevention and system-activity information, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

review and evaluate applications, validate invitations and Invite Codes, manage the waitlist and verify eligibility;
establish and administer memberships and process membership payments;
hold your initial call so we can learn about your business and identify which Network Partners may be relevant, schedule meetings, and provide membership and account support;
make introductions to Network Partners that you request or accept, or that are part of your membership;
issue and verify Certificates of Good Standing;
send service messages and, where you allow it, updates and marketing;
contact you, where you have not opted out, about possible business collaborations with Freedom Ventures Group Inc., its affiliates or its owners that are separate from your membership;
keep consent and audit records;
authenticate users, protect accounts, and detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse or unauthorized activity;
operate, secure, analyze and improve the website, the Services and the member experience;
keep business, administrative, legal and compliance records, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements; and
comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process and government requests.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably identify an individual for analytics, business operations, security and improving the Services.

3. Membership Payments

MFN uses third-party payment processors, including Stripe, to process membership payments. Card and bank details are collected and stored by the processor under its own terms and privacy practices. MFN does not store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.

Membership fees pay for access to the MFN network and its services, not for financing approval. MFN does not use its payment processors to receive or distribute financing proceeds, collect loan repayments, or process investment funds for members or Network Partners.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as reasonably needed to provide the Services, run our business, make introductions, meet legal obligations, or protect MFN and its members.

Network Partners: to make introductions you request or accept, or that are part of your membership, as described in Section 5.
Service providers: we use providers for website hosting and infrastructure, CRM and membership administration, e-signature, scheduling, video meetings, email, text messaging, payments, analytics, security and fraud prevention, member support, professional services and artificial-intelligence tools. They may use personal information only to provide services to MFN, under their contractual and legal obligations, and may not use it to train models offered to third parties.
Affiliates: within Freedom Ventures Group Inc. and its affiliates, for the purposes in this policy, including possible collaborations. Confidential business information you provide for membership, such as financials, receivables, client information or deal terms, is not used for collaborations without your consent.
Legal and safety: as described in Section 9.
Business transfers: as described in Section 10.

We do not sell personal information (see Section 15).

5. Network Partners and Introductions

Targeted business introductions are a core part of MFN membership. When you request, authorize or accept an introduction, or when an introduction is part of your membership, we share appropriate business and contact information with the relevant Network Partner so the introduction can take place. We may also confirm your membership status and the validity of your Certificate of Good Standing to Network Partners. Network Partners must keep information we share confidential under their agreements with MFN.

An introduction is not an approval, endorsement, underwriting, financing commitment, or guarantee that a Network Partner will do business with you. Network Partners decide for themselves whether to continue discussions. They may request information directly from you, carry out their own review or due diligence, set their own terms, and enter into agreements directly with you.

After information is shared for an authorized introduction, the Network Partner is responsible for its own use of that information under its own privacy policy and applicable law. MFN does not control Network Partners’ privacy or data-processing practices.

6. Communications and Text Messages

We may contact you about applications, waitlist or invitation status, membership administration, payments, meetings and reminders, introductions you request or accept, member support, account or website security, changes to the Services, and other administrative matters.

Where required, we will separately ask for your consent before sending marketing or promotional messages by email, phone, SMS/text message or other electronic means. Where our website asks for consent to calls or texts, we keep a record of the disclosure shown to you and evidence of your consent.

Collaborations. We may contact you by email, phone or, if you have separately agreed to receive them, text message about possible business collaborations with Freedom Ventures Group Inc., its affiliates or its owners. These are separate from your membership, are never a condition of it, and do not affect introductions. You can opt out at any time by replying to the message or emailing support@marketingfinancenetwork.com. Members can opt out by replying STOP to any text.

Text messages. If you opt in, we send texts about meetings, reminders and your membership. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. If you separately opt in to collaboration texts, we may also text you about possible business collaborations. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of joining or purchasing a membership. We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

You can opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link in any message, or through our opt-out page at marketingfinancenetwork.com/opt-out. Opting out of promotional messages does not stop necessary transactional, administrative, membership or security messages.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are needed for our website to work and stay secure. Depending on your choices in our cookie-consent banner, we may also use functional, analytics or advertising technologies. These technologies help us:

operate website features and remember your preferences;
authenticate and recognize users;
maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse;
understand how the website is used and how it performs, and diagnose technical problems; and
improve the website and the Services.

Where required by law, optional cookies are used only according to your consent choices. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work if cookies are disabled.

8. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website and Services may link to websites, platforms and services run by third parties. MFN does not control their privacy, security or data-processing practices, and this policy does not cover information they collect directly. Please review their privacy policies and terms before giving them personal information.

9. Legal and Security Disclosures

We may disclose personal information where reasonably necessary to:

comply with law, regulation, court order, subpoena or other legal process;
respond to lawful requests from government or regulatory authorities;
investigate suspected fraud, abuse, unlawful activity or violations of our agreements;
protect the security and integrity of our website, Services and network;
protect the rights, property, privacy or safety of MFN, our members or others; or
establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

10. Business Transfers

If MFN is involved in, or evaluates, a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, change of control or similar transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as reasonably necessary for that transaction, subject to this policy and applicable law.

11. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your membership is active and afterward as reasonably needed for the purposes in this policy and for legitimate business, legal, security and compliance purposes. How long we keep information depends on factors such as:

the length of your membership or business relationship;
membership administration needs;
legal, regulatory, tax and accounting requirements;
payment and transaction recordkeeping;
consent and compliance documentation;
fraud and security prevention; and
resolving disputes, enforcing our agreements and applicable statutes of limitation.

Signed agreements and acceptance records are kept for at least seven (7) years after membership ends. When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize or securely dispose of it.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, physical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, loss or misuse. No method of internet transmission, electronic storage or security system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please notify us right away if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

13. Your Choices and Rights

You can update your profile information, opt out of marketing email using the unsubscribe link, and opt out of texts by replying STOP and opt out of collaboration outreach by emailing support@marketingfinancenetwork.com.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may also have the right to:

access the personal information MFN holds about you;
correct inaccurate personal information;
delete certain personal information;
obtain a copy of certain personal information;
learn about certain disclosures or uses of your personal information;
limit or object to certain processing;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
appeal our decision about your request.

To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 20. We will verify your identity before responding. Some rights have exceptions under applicable law, and we may keep some information where needed to enforce our agreements or comply with law.

14. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under state privacy laws, which may include access, correction, deletion, portability and rights about certain uses or disclosures of personal information. California residents may have additional rights under California privacy law, subject to applicable thresholds, exceptions and limitations; see marketingfinancenetwork.com/ccpa for more information. We will process eligible, verified requests as required by applicable law.

15. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. If MFN ever engages in an activity that applicable privacy law defines as a “sale,” “sharing” or “targeted advertising,” we will provide any notices, consent options or opt-out mechanisms that law requires.

16. Children

The Services are for established businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

17. U.S. Only

The Services are intended for businesses incorporated and operating in the United States. Information is stored and processed in the United States.

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the Services, our business practices, technology or legal requirements. We will post the new version with its updated date and, for material changes, notify members by email.

19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Privacy Policy is part of, and subject to, our Terms of Use (also called our Terms and Conditions), available at marketingfinancenetwork.com/terms-of-use. Any dispute or claim relating to this policy or to how MFN handles personal information will be resolved under the “Governing Law and Dispute Resolution” section of the Terms of Use, including any arbitration provisions and governing-law terms it contains.
